We love dogs here at the Ship and we wouldn't want them to miss out on a little holiday too!
We’re the ideal hound hideaway for dogs due to our fantastic location! There are some idylic walks in our local area and plenty of dog friendly beaches. We are perfectly located just a stones throw from the small sandy harbour beach which is dog friendly out of season. That'll keep you happy and your four legged friends tail wagging for joy!
Your dog is welcome to join you in our bar and outside spaces but we do ask that you do not leave them in the room alone as it can sometimes be unsettling for them.
We have a selection of dog friendly rooms which have relatively easy access to our door space. We want you and your best friend to be as comfortable as possible so we suggest a maximum of 2, well behaved dogs, per room.
To ensure we allocate you the correct room please call us to book a dog friendly room. Dogs are charged an additional £10 per dog, per night.LETS GO WALKIES!
The Ship Inn does not have its own car park. However, there is a pay and display car park on the harbour that charges £3 per day and £1 for overnight parking. If this is full, there is a larger car park on The Parade, which is pay and display. From The Ship Inn, head north towards Fore Street and fork left directly before ‘The Mousehole’. Follow the road to the right and onto Parade Hill for about 500 feet keeping The Old Coastguard on your right. The pay and display car park will be shortly after on your right. If you require any further information, please call us on 01736 731234.
